Back from Costa Rica!

While the majority is enjoying their well-deserved summer vacation, we have not been idle and embarked on a visit to our new partner in Costa Rica to get ready for the upcoming season.

Joe and Sue (…and of course, Rio, the dog) welcomed us with open arms, and we had the opportunity to witness the unique beauty of Drake Bay, Costa Rica ourselves.

Joe personally designed the lodge, had the steel shipped from England to Costa Rica, and, with the assistance of a few local helpers, crafted a genuine masterpiece and gem in the midst of the jungle.

The lodge is situated on top of hill, surrounded by tropical rainforest with a view of Drake Bay. Toucans perch in the trees, large macaws fly by, and monkeys and squirrels visit almost daily, helping themselves to the fruits in the trees. You have never been so close to nature before!

A small series of pictures will give you a closer look at some of our impressions, and soon we will fill the website with more information about our tours.

The simple yet excellent local cuisine left nothing to be desired, and with a few refreshing cocktails, we would wind down the evenings.

Unfortunately, the good times passed by much too quickly, but we unanimously agreed that Costa Rica has captured a place in our hearts, and we will definitely come back. The next groups are already in the planning stage.

For the spring season during the dry period, there are only a few available slots for travel groups of 2-3 people upon request. The first major group tour for solo travelers is scheduled for December 2023, marking the beginning of the dry season. We would be happy to send you an offer regarding this.
