Das Hinfiebern auf die Reise an den Amazonas hatte ein Ende und es ging mit unserer sechs Mann Truppe nach Ecuador.<br \/>Nach problemloser Anreise hatten wir noch einen kurzweiligen Abend im Flughafen-Hotel bevor es am n\u00e4chsten Tag mit einem halbst\u00fcndigen Inlandsflug nach Coca ging.<br \/>In Coca am Flughafen wurden wir von Francis empfangen, welcher uns die n\u00e4chsten Tage zum K\u00f6nig des Amazonas &#8211; dem Arapaima &#8211; bringen sollte.<br \/>Bereits die Bootsanreise zu unserem Camp und die gewaltige Natur des Regenwaldes f\u00fchrte bei mir zu einer regelrechten Reiz\u00fcberflutung.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>Nach dem Auftackeln<\/strong> am Abend ging es am n\u00e4chsten Tag fr\u00fch morgens los. Arapaima in der Flussm\u00fcndung und Peacocks standen f\u00fcr unseren ersten der insgesamt sieben Angeltage auf dem Plan.<br \/>Es dauert nicht lang da hatte mein Bootspartner bereits den ersten Arapaima an der Rute. Wir staunten beide nicht schlecht als sich zwei Meter Fisch das erste mal aus<br \/>dem Fluss schraubten. Nach einer knappen Stunde ging es weiter zum Peacock fischen, die in die Seitenarme des Amazonas. Die Fischerei auf Peacock in absolut unbr\u00fchrter Natur war einfach nur Traumhaft. Der erste Tag war rum und es Standen f\u00fcr uns mehr als 20 Peacocks zu Buche. Da der Fluss relativ viel Wasser f\u00fchrte wechselten wir am n\u00e4chsten Tag bereits das Camp weiter flussabw\u00e4rts, da dort die Chancen auf den Arapaima deutlich h\u00f6her stehen sollten.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b7ce6ec elementor-widget elementor-widget-penci-image-gallery\" data-id=\"b7ce6ec\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>Nachdem wir die Zelte aufgeschlagen hatten,<\/strong> ging es dort die n\u00e4chsten f\u00fcnf Tage auf Arapaima. Wir befischten riesige Lagunen, die sich hinter dem Dickicht des Hauptflusses aus dem nichts auftaten. Die ersten W\u00fcrfe nach Sichtung eines Arapaimas an der Oberfl\u00e4che lie\u00dfen nicht lange auf sich warten, jedoch mussten wir alle hart f\u00fcr den ersten Fisch arbeiten. Die Fischerei erstreckte sich in der Regel von den Morgenstunden bis zum fr\u00fchen Vormittag und nach kurzer Mittagspause im Camp bis zur Abendd\u00e4mmerung. <br \/>Zahlreiche Fehlbisse, vergeigte Anhiebe und W\u00fcrfe neben das Ziel sp\u00e4ter, klingelte es endlich. Mein Kindheitsraum vom Arapaima sollte nach einem spektakul\u00e4ren Drill mit zahlreichen Spr\u00fcngen in Erf\u00fcllung gehen. Der Fisch war am Boot und Francis konnte ihn erfolgreich greifen. Ich kann nun mit vollem Stolz behaupten den K\u00f6nig des Amazonas in meinen H\u00e4nden zu halten.<br \/>Nach kurzer Fotosession ging es f\u00fcr den Fisch wohlbehalten in sein Revier zur\u00fcck. <br \/>Durch den erh\u00f6hten Wasserstand war es ein ganzes St\u00fcck Arbeit die Fische an den Haken zu bekommen, da die Fische sich unter den untersp\u00fclten Graslandschaften verstecken,<br \/>aber es sollten f\u00fcr uns alle noch weitere traumhafte, teilweise sogar (welt-)rekordverd\u00e4chtige Exemplare folgen.<br \/>Zum letzten Angeltag kehrten wir zur\u00fcck in unser Hauptcamp die Tukunari Logde. Es ging nochmal auf Peacock und zus\u00e4tzlich auf Pacu, den wir nun aufgrund des sp\u00fcrbar gesunkenen Wasserstandes ebenfalls in einem weiteren Seitenarm befischen konnten. Auch der Pacu war mir noch verg\u00f6nnt und die Biester machten richtig Dampf an der Rute. Kaum zu fassen was der &#8220;Dschungel-GT&#8221; f\u00fcr eine Power hatte. Der letzte Angeltag neigte sich dem Ende und ich blicke auf eine perfekte Fischerei mit zahlreichen Fischarten und Flussmonstern zur\u00fcck.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div nat\u00fcrlich mit gro\u00dfem Abstand mein Augenmerk lag, ist die Fauna absolut einmalig. Von Papageien, S\u00fc\u00dfwasserdelfinen, Affen, Riesenottern und Kaimanen ist<br \/>wirklich alles dabei. Die eindrucksvollen Sonnenunterg\u00e4nge hinter dem Urwald des Amazonas sind ebenfalls absolut einmalig. Jeder Naturliebhaber und Hobbyfotograph kommt hier voll auf seine Kosten.<br \/>Auch die traditionell einheimische Verpflegung durch die Familie war zu jedem Zeitpunkt tadellos. Obwohl wir im Dschungel abseits von jeglicher Zivilisation waren, fehlte uns zu keinem Zeitpunkt irgendetwas.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element
