Leider musste der Trip aufgrund verschiedener Umst\u00e4nde immer wieder verschoben werden, bis es schlie\u00dflich 2024 endlich so weit war. Der letzte Flug auf dem Hinweg sollte mit der ber\u00fcchtigten Boeing 737 Max 8 stattfinden. Au\u00dferdem hatten wir die Empfehlung erhalten, w\u00e4hrend der gesamten Reise aufgrund der schlechten hygienischen Bedingungen in Afrika m\u00f6glichst nichts zu essen, um keine Magen-Darm-Probleme zu riskieren.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Nach dem Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck gingen wir noch einmal alles durch: Ruten, Rollen, K\u00f6der \u2013 alles war vorbereitet. F\u00fcr die Kinder im Fischerdorf hatten wir zudem noch Spielzeug und Malsachen dabei. Die Vorfreude wuchs, als wir schlie\u00dflich den Flughafen in Frankfurt erreichten, dort den Gro\u00dfteil unserer Gruppe trafen und den Nachtflug antraten.<\/p><p>Der Flug nach Addis Abeba war entspannt, und nach sieben Stunden erreichten wir unser Zwischenziel. Hier schlossen wir uns mit der restlichen Gruppe zusammen und hatten Zeit, uns \u00fcber das bevorstehende Angeln auszutauschen. Es war spannend zu erfahren, was uns in den n\u00e4chsten Tagen erwarten w\u00fcrde. Da es keine Klimaanlage gab und es knapp 32\u00b0C waren, war das unangenehm, aber mit der Hilfe von Trinkgeldern wurden wir schnell durch den Prozess gef\u00fchrt. Nach dem Visum und der Gep\u00e4ckabholung ging es per Shuttle in unser Hotel, wo wir nach einer kurzen Fahrt eincheckten.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Wir bezogen unser luxuri\u00f6ses Zimmer und trafen uns sp\u00e4ter in der Rooftop-Bar, um bei einem Getr\u00e4nk erste Instruktionen von der Crew zu erhalten. Danach ging es zum Abendessen, wo wir uns an der Empfehlung hielten, nur durchgebratenes Essen zu konsumieren, und die Livemusik genossen. Es war 6 Uhr und Zeit f\u00fcrs Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck. Nach einer letzten Kontrolle der Ruten und K\u00f6der ging es schnell zum Boot. Wir freuten uns auf den Tag, obwohl wir uns fragten, wie die Fische dort wirklich bei\u00dfen w\u00fcrden.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Nach einer kurzen Fahrt entdeckte die Crew einen K\u00f6derfischschwarm im Wasser, und sofort ging es los: Matthias warf als Erster und ein gro\u00dfer Bluefin Trevally biss an. Wenig sp\u00e4ter hatte auch ich meinen ersten Bluefin Trevally am Haken \u2013 mein pers\u00f6nliches Highlight nach Jahren des Wartens!<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Mein Mann fing an diesem Tag einen der gr\u00f6\u00dften GTs des Trips mit etwa 27 kg, und bis zum Mittagessen hatten wir schon einige Bluefin Trevallys an Bord. Das Mittagessen wurde w\u00e4hrend der Fahrt auf einem Sonnensegel serviert, und w\u00e4hrenddessen stiegen zwei Bonitos an, die ebenfalls schnell gelandet wurden.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Am Nachmittag wechselten wir zwischen Jigging und Poppern. Ein Drill brachte mich an den Rand der Verzweiflung, als ich sicher war, einen Bonito am Haken zu haben, es aber schlie\u00dflich ein Torpedo Scad war. zweite Tag begann wie der erste mit einem gro\u00dfartigen Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck. Danach ging es wieder aufs Boot, wo wir schnell die ersten Baitballs entdeckten. Diesmal fingen wir vor allem kleinere GTs zwischen 5-10 kg, aber auch einige sch\u00f6ne Fische bei Poppern und Jigging. Matthias, der an diesem Tag etwas weniger Gl\u00fcck beim Jiggen hatte, musste feststellen, dass er meinen Jig gehakt hatte \u2013 ein am\u00fcsanter Moment, der uns noch lange zum Lachen brachte.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Ein weiterer H\u00f6hepunkt des Tages war der Drill mit einem Hai, den ich bei einem Jiggen erwischte. Es stellte sich heraus, dass der \u201ekleine Fisch\u201c ein \u00fcber 1,80 m gro\u00dfer Grauer Riffhai war. Nach einem spannenden 20-min\u00fctigen Drill landeten wir den Hai, der anschlie\u00dfend sicher zur\u00fcckgesetzt wurde.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-970316c elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"970316c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Chillday im Resort<\/h2>\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1b58e99 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"1b58e99\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Nach einigen intensiven Angeltagen entschieden Flo und ich uns, einen Ruhetag einzulegen. Wir verbrachten den Tag damit, das Fischerdorf zu erkunden, den Kindern Spielzeug und Malsachen zu schenken und die lokale Fauna zu beobachten. data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Am n\u00e4chsten Tag ging es wieder aufs Wasser, diesmal mit einem weiteren P\u00e4rchen, das sich unserem Boot anschloss. Der Tag verlief insgesamt eher ruhig, aber dennoch fingen wir verschiedene Trevallys und einen Barracuda. Besonders spannend war ein Drill, bei dem wir gemeinsam mit Matthias und Flo zwei Bluefin Trevallys und einen GT fingen. Wir begannen, uns langsam auf die Abreise vorzubereiten. Abends gingen wir gemeinsam essen und diskutierten die besten F\u00e4nge des Tages. Es war ein sch\u00f6ner Abschluss unserer Reise. Am Nachmittag trafen wir Heikos neue Gruppe und beantworteten ihre Fragen. Es war klar, dass wir auch in Zukunft gemeinsam reisen wollten.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Als wir schlie\u00dflich am Flughafen eintrafen, war die R\u00fcckreise nach Hamburg in Sicht. Wir hatten 18 verschiedene Fischarten gefangen, unz\u00e4hlige Abenteuer erlebt und viele neue Freundschaften geschlossen.
